How We Came To Exist…
Omaha Homes For Cash is a local home buying company in Omaha, Nebraska. We are a family owned and operated company that takes tremendous pride in our work and the relationships we create along the way.
We started in real estate with the goal of acquiring a few rentals houses to supplement our income. We began flipping a few houses and really fell in love with it. We started buying houses that were in poor condition and completely bringing them back to life. After a few projects (some profitable and some not so much), we became obsessed with the entire process.
After working out some kinks in our business model, we really began to grow. We started getting comments from people in the neighborhoods about how grateful they were for improving the community they were embedded in. You know how good that is to hear?! We soon realized we had the potential to positively affect a lot of people with our company (and make a little bit of extra money doing it). Ding, Ding, Ding……Omaha Homes For Cash was born and the rest is history!

Just A Couple Ordinary Guys…
John is the oldest of us three brothers. He would like to say he is the brains behind the operation so we will go with that. He has extensive knowledge of the real estate market in Omaha, a true numbers nerd if you will.
John is a Marine Veteran serving three terms in Iraq. He is a graduate from the University of Nebraska – Omaha with a degree in Business Finance, and went on to receive his law degree from Nebraska College of Law.
John is an active real estate investor in Omaha, Nebraska and also works as a realtor with Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate – The Good Life Group.
Okay, okay, enough on John – He’s making the rest of us look bad!
Matt is the youngest of the three brothers. Matt seems to have learned from the rest of our mistakes and done quite well for himself!
Matt is currently a firefighter for Papillion Fire Department here in Nebraska. He also is a graduate from University of Nebraska – Omaha with a degree in Fire Protection Technology.
Matt is the handy man of the group. He can fix just about anything and is very good at quickly analyzing a project just by looking at it. He is also oddly obsessed with his acreage and chickens.
And then there is James, middle brother of the three. Where do we start?
James is the people person of the group. Things took a little longer to click for this guy. The quote “Not all those who wander are lost” comes to mind. (We think he might have been lost, but that’s beside the point).
James currently works full time as a registered nurse here in Omaha. He recently joined the team in 2019 after a 3 year stint traveling and fishing all over the country, working as a registered nurse. He currently handles acquisitions, marketing, and web development for Omaha Homes For Cash. He frequently blogs about his adventures in real estate and day to day business duties.
James also refers to his dogs as his children. Not quite sure about this one yet….
